During President Obama’s recent inaugural speech he said:
I have three words in response to President Obama’s claims on the threat of Climate Change…
You’re an Eco-Fascist.
OK, obviously I have more than three words to write in response to the President’s remarks, many more. But let me start with a long definition of Fascism:
Fascism (pron.: /ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism.[1][2] Fascists seek to unify their nation through a totalitarian state that seeks the mass mobilization of the national community through discipline, indoctrination, and physical training.[3][4] Fascism utilizes a vanguard party to initiate a revolution to organize the nation upon fascist principles.[5] Fascism views direct action including political violence and war, as a means to achieve national rejuvenation, spirit and vitality.[3][6][7]
Fascism recognizes the occurrence of class conflict, and advocates a resolution to end the division of classes within a nation and secure national solidarity.[8] However fascism publicly favours proletarian culture due to its association of proletarian culture with economic production and claims that the proletariat as producers must have a dominant role in the nation.[9] It rejects standard bourgeois culture that it associates with unfit sedentary lifestyle, individualism, plutocracy, and the bourgeoisie‘s economic exploitation of the nation’s proletariat, that fascism views as inconsistent with virile nationhood.[10][11][12] Fascism claims that cultural nationalization of society emancipates the nation’s proletariat, and promotes the assimilation of all classes into a proletarian nation.[8]
Fascism advocates a state-controlled and regulated mixed economy; the principal economic goal of fascism is to achieve autarky to secure national self-sufficiency and independence, through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.[13] It promotes regulated private enterprise and private property contingent whenever beneficial to the nation and state enterprise and state property whenever necessary to protect its interests.[13]
Before I begin to demonstrate exactly how the President is spreading his Eco-Fascism, allow me to dispel the myth that Climate Change is proven science. Better yet, I’ll allow one of the scientists from the alarmist Climate Change movement to do it for me.
According to an article on ClimateDepot.com, in April of 2012, Scientist David Lovelock admitted that he, and Al Gore, were wrong on Climate Change and that they really had no idea what they were talking about:
Lovelock pointed to Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” and Tim Flannery’s “The Weather Makers” as other examples of “alarmist” forecasts of the future…”The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books – mine included – because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened,” Lovelock said. “The climate is doing its usual tricks. There’s nothing much really happening yet. We were supposed to be halfway toward a frying world now,” he said. “The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time… it (the temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising — carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that,” he added...Asked if he was now a climate skeptic, Lovelock told msnbc.com: “It depends what you mean by a skeptic. I’m not a denier.” He said human-caused carbon dioxide emissions were driving an increase in the global temperature, but added that the effect of the oceans was not well enough understood and could have a key role. “It (the sea) could make all the difference between a hot age and an ice age,” he said. ‘I made a mistake’ As “an independent and a loner,” he said he did not mind saying “All right, I made a mistake.” He claimed a university or government scientist might fear an admission of a mistake would lead to the loss of funding.”
Coincidentally what Mr. Lovelock admitted in April of last year, has now been backed up by the United Nations(UN) own IPCC who leaked a report in December of 2012 stating that not only have the tragic predictions of man made Climate Change not happened, but that solar activity may have more to do with Climate Change than the UN originally thought.
This makes the IPCC Climate Gate in 2011 look legitimate; that was the event when hacked emails exposed how IPCC scientists were hiding their Climate data results (and destroying emails) which did not favor Climate Change out of fear that the results would be leaked or exposed in a ‘freedom of information’ type request. Which only reenforces Mr. Lovelock’s statement that scientists “might fear an admission of a mistake would lead to the loss of funding”, and may have been the IPCC’s scientists’ motivation for hiding their data.
Add to this, according to an article on The Daily Mail, that The Weather and Climate Change Office in the UK (MET) released a report in January of this year that echoed the IPCC report by stating that the dire earth shattering climate predictions were not taking place which has scientists even questioning the existence of man made Climate Change:
The figures have been seized on by sceptics of man-made climate change, who claim that global warming has flatlined despite a large rise in greenhouse emissions in recent decades.
Dr David Whitehouse, science adviser to the Global Warming Policy Foundation, said: ‘That the global temperature standstill could continue to at least 2017 would mean a 20-year period of no statistically significant change in global temperatures.
‘Such a period of no increase will pose fundamental problems for climate models. If the latest Met Office prediction is correct, then it will prove to be a lesson in humility.’
Even as I write this, the Canadian Free Press has just posted (literally just now) an article of quotes from other scientists reenforcing the facts in the statement from Mr. Lovelock and the facts in the reports of the IPCC and the MET:
Global warming is likely to be less extreme than claimed, researchers said yesterday. The most likely temperature rise will be 1.9C (3.4F) compared with the 3.5C predicted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Norwegian study says earlier predictions were based on rapid warming in the Nineties. But Oslo University’s department of geosciences included data since 2000 when temperature rises “levelled off nearly completely”.—John Ingham, Daily Express, 26 January 2013.
The Earth’s mean temperature rose sharply during the Nineties. This may have caused us to overestimate climate sensitivity. We are most likely witnessing natural fluctuations in the climate system – changes that can occur over several decades – and which are coming on top of a long-term warming.——Professor Terje Berntsen,University of Oslo, 24 January 2013.
These results are truly sensational. If confirmed by other studies, this could have far-reaching impacts on efforts to achieve the political targets for climate.—Caroline Leck,Stockholm University, 25 January 2013.
While the dire predictions of man made Climate Change are not taking place, there is one prediction coming true. In 2007, the founder of the Weather Channel, John Colman, stated that Climate Change:
It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.
[...]I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.
In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious.
But while those in the scientific community are slowly awakening to the fact that their predictions based on computer climate models are wrong, sooner than Mr. Coleman predicted, the President is doubling down on Climate Change alarmism in order to push forward his Sustainability agenda.
How has the President done this?
By following the model of Fascism of course.
